Major Nelson is reporting that Halo 3 DLC is coming December 11th, in the form of Heroic Map Pack, They are the following:
Standoff: The symmetrical valley of with its entrenched bases and fields of boulders is ideal for mid-sized objective and Slayer game types.
Rat’s Nest: The vast, labyrinthine passages bring something completely new to the multiplayer experience: an indoor vehicle paradise. Strongly influenced by the Campaign mode, this map is ideal for big team battles.
Foundry: This is the ultimate Forge map. Players can edit every single object in this voluminous industrial warehouse, placing stairways, walls, bridges, and tunnels to create an entirely new play space and build almost any kind of map imaginable.
You get all three maps for the low price of 800 ($10.00) MS points. They are coming just in time for the holidays. Santa… Umm.. Santos is pleased.
They are finally making a Ghostbusters game for the Next Gen Consoles and I am all types of excited. It going to be a sequel to the 2nd movie and will be in the 90s time period. All of the Main Ghostbusters (Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, and Harold Ramis) and some of the supporting actors (William Atherton, Annie Potts) are signed on. So they will look and sound like their movie counterparts.
Terminal Reality is handle the PC, 360, and PS3 versions. While Red Fly Studio will be developing the PS2, Wii, and DS versions.Which worries me a bit. Terminal Reality has make the crappy Æon Flux, BloodRayne & Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run and Red Fly hasn’t even made a game before. Then again, the game would have to be pretty damn crappy for me not to like them. The joys of seeing thru rose colored fan glasses. All of the games are scheduled to be released in Fall of 2008. While you wait, be sure to check out the new website.

James Marsters, who played Spike the vampire on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has signed on to play bad guy Piccolo in the upcoming Dragon Ball Z movie. Justin Chatwin, Tom Cruise’s son in War of the Worlds, will face off against Marsters as hero Goku.
Stephen Chow, director of Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle, will produce the DBZ flick while X-Files writer/Space Above & Beyond co-creator James Wong will direct. The nerd cred is strong with this one.
The Dragon Ball movie is set to begin filming later this year, and be released next summer.
While I not the biggest DBZ fan, this is pretty cool. Good to see James Marsters getting work. Also they have some good people working on it. It might be pretty good.

Oh, Weighted Companion Cube how great you are
You sit and weight,
sometimes long
sometimes short,
until I figure out which Portal gets me to you
Oh, Weighted Companion Cube how patient you are
You don’t get mad
when I forget only two portals at once
and end up dropping you
sometimes high,
sometimes low.
I love you.
Please pardon my little tid-bit located above. I believe I have borrowed this image from thebbps site. I hope no one gets offended. I haven’t had a chance to sit and play Portal since I first played it, which makes me totally sad since I really enjoyed it, but when I saw this I knew I needed to share. I’m all up for plushies and such, and this Weighted Companion Cube is the greatness. I want it already. There is no word on how big it is and when exactly it will be released to the masses, but when I hear word, I shall post some updates. Has anyone else played the game? Have/did you enjoy it?

The Capcom Blog is reporting that the BluRay verison of Resident Evil: Extinction will have a sneak peek of the Resident Evil: Degeneration (CGI feature film). While the movie was complete trash, it should be worth a rent to see the CG new hotness. The BluRay will be in store January 1.

On one of my many travels in New York City, I can across this ad for How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It seems like somebody at the ad agency was a big fan of GTA. For their sake I hope Rockstar or He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named doesn’t see it. You never know what will set them off.

This is the hardest Song in Guitar History but yet Conrad makes it look easy. My hats off to you my friend. It might be time to move on to a real guitar.

This one of a kind guitar was made back in 1998 by SPECIMEN Custom Guitars. Not only does it look awesome but is easy to play instrument (As per the Owner of the Guitar). While I don’t play the Guitar myself, I would love to have this bad boy. Then again who wouldn’t.

I am sure a lot of you have fond memories of “The Last Starfighter” movie. I can remember wishing there was a Last Starfighter Machine that I could play. After many years, it seems like my dream has come true thanks to folks at roguesynapse.com. Not only can you play the same game that was in the movie but they also have instructions to made your very own Last Starfighter Arcade Cabinet. Too bad it’s outside my skill set to do so. At least I can still play the game. Got to practice if I want to be recruited by the Star League to defend the Frontier against Xur and the Ko-Dan armada.
