Calling All Votes
Very recently I was made aware of a female artist in Barcelona who is trying to break into the vinyl industry. Whenever someone mentions an artist- I come home and ‘google’ people up, search any personal blogs/sites and add them to my rss. I am all about getting to know as many people as possible and learning about their style for the day that fate sends them my way (or vice versa). Well, I am currently totally addicted to the art of Charuca, the aforementioned artist, and I want to help her in a contest that she is currently participating in.
She is part of a Momji contest hosted by don’t panic online magazine. She submitted 3 designs, as per the request of the guidelines, and is hoping to win. What are Momji dolls? According to the site: Momiji are message dolls, each doll has a space in its base for a tiny secret message. I think this is super cool, and though I doubt I’d get one if she wins, her designs really are super kawaii. Take a look at each individual doll after the jump. Follow the link to vote for her and visit her flickr for additional cuteness overload. By the way, there is some clicking that must be done to support her, you need to sign up witht he site, then activate your account through email, vote and finally confirm the vote through email. I know that requires a minimum of 4 clicks of the mouse, but I’d really appreciate you help and am sure she will too.
